Locals We Love

Joe & Laura Carey reveal some of their favourite local businesses in and around the beautiful town of Holt, North Norfolk.

As we celebrate Holt Festival this summer we wanted to give a shout out to some of our favourite local businesses. We have picked just 5, but we hope to share more later in the year. You may be reading this from elsewhere in the world - however, the chances are you will one day find yourself in this beautiful part of the world, perhaps on holiday? Also, some of these mentioned below also supply across the UK (as do we!) so without any further ado, here are the locals we love:

Star Plain Stores

As we celebrate Holt Festival this week we wanted to give a shout out to some of our favourite local businesses. So here we go… Day 1: Star Plain, Holt - Cheese and Deli store with a Café and Wine Bar (one of our favourite places to grab a coffee!)

Self confessed cheese obsessive and owner, Tom Brady explains 'We serve seasonal dishes from ingredients we sell in the deli, with a focus on preservative free, natural, handmade products from artisan producers both local and further afield. We’re well known for our cheese selection, curated provisions, natural wines, toasties and daily Climpson and Sons Coffee.'

Tom is very proud of the business he has built from scratch so give Star Plain a follow!
