London is one of the greenest cities in the world. This garden celebrates urban spaces as precious, purifying filters that adorn the city - bringing sanctuary amidst the urban rush.
Featuring walls made from Oyster[Crete] - an exciting new innovation in biomaterials that uses waste oyster shells from London’s restaurant industry and turns them into a beautiful concrete alternative. This garden uses a distillation of London’s quintessential materials, combing Portland stone with copper and verdigris metals to create a reimagination of London’s financial district. Water represents London’s hidden rivers, meandering through urban friendly planting set beneath thriving, pollution-reducing trees.
